Rescuing A Baby Elephant || 7 min

In the fall of 2019, I was sent a dropbox folder containing twelve photographs and a fifteen-minute 240p vertical video. My mission was simple: use this footage to tell the story of a heroic effort to save a baby elephant that was trapped by a snare in Sumatra.  One Skype interview and a week of editing later, the story of Salma’s rescue was ready to be shared.
